I had seen Dan's paint work on other large scale RC planes and jets, and always marveled at the quality of his work.

My project for Dan was a CARF Marchetti F260 with a brilliant scale orange and blue paint scheme. Needless to say he exceeded my highest expectations!

Dan was able to replicate every detail of the paint scheme to perfection, down to fuzzed edges between colors, and the Jolly Rogers on the main gear doors. The finish is that of a show car. Simply stunning! He is a true artist.

They have completed many projects for clients of Clair Global with remarkable creativity, craftsmanship and short lead times. These included custom color microphones, stands, boom arms, mic clips and other audio accessories. Most projects include custom colors to match clothing, stage set parts or other artist requests. Most include metal flake and pearl, scratch resistant clear coats and even the application of jewels and custom monograms. Custom airbrush work is also a specialty. They are quite capable of disassembly and reassembly and understands the demands of the live touring industry. For example, it is not easy to paint and clear coat the the moving parts of a telescoping mic stand and still have it function properly, but they always do. They are my "go to source" for these custom projects and has never disappointed us. Blackbird Finishes can provide pictures and details of the many projects they have helped us with.
